Terrains is an educational play facility. It uses indirect learning techniques to encourage adventure for students. The organic shapes and natural elements of the exterior playground support a connection to nature. On the other hand, the interior structure is built from shipping containers. The containers serve to be part of the playground in a more creative sense giving students the opportunity to use their imagination. The Project was to develop a design idea for wasted shipping containers. This sustainable solution can be replicated for sites of many locations as a feasible facility to support children play and education.
